I was once again very kindly invited to inspire through my own personal story and as to how I ended up in the footwear Industry. Joined by other individuals from various professions, from a high ranked police officer, to solicitors and museum curators. The day was constructed through a series of small grouped talks, inspiring pupils at Sheringham school to think of what other alternatives there are to the usual careers out there today.
My area of expertise was creativity, the arts and designs.

I was very humbled when I was approached by Inspiring the Future to visit one of Cambridge's most deprived schools. Having seen my bio, they thought that what I had to offer through a presentation and workshop would benefit the pupils.
What was inspiring for me was meeting with some forward thinking members of varying industires, including Professor Dame Athene, the renowned physician who led her own presentations, among over notable guests.
The children and staff were incredibly appreciative and as always, I was honoured to have some part to play in helping shape future choices.

Last week saw the last of the STEM career days at Kings Langley School. To have been invited as an ambassador as a technology and innovation practitioner was really flattering.
It's vital that the emerging generations are somewhat aware of what else is out there and how they can best utilise their skills. Personally I was a youngster who had several interests and perhaps thought I could only actually delve into one career. The great news is that more so than ever, professions are diversifying and skills can certainly be utilised in several areas. Keeping your options open and mind bright!
Sharing my personal story as to how I eventually ended up starting Milly J Shoes, I was thrilled that both the students and faculty found my workshops and story inspiring.
If you'd like me to come into your organisation or school and would appreciate my unusual story for motivational and creative purposes, please do get in contact! It's not a talk solely for the education section but also humanitarian, business and self exploration.
STEM - Scienece, Technology, Engineering, Maths.

International Women's Week saw a wonderful night of inspiring talks and canapes at St Francis' College in Letchworth.
A private girls' boarding school, celebrating International Women's Day through a series of guest talks including ones from Brita Fernandez-Schmidt the UK Director of Women For Women, Wendy Smith, Paralympian and myself!
Our stories all tied in together so effortlessly, despite this not being deliberate!
A truly memorable night filled with members of the public, parents, students and the press. The school kindly saying my talk and singing were both exceptional!
